Great workout following the TRX basic training video. Except I couldn’t do the Deltoid fly’s, as I was in a doorway.
Easy morning, just 10mins on jump rope at roughly 160-180rpm. More to follow.
Happiness is a funny thing, to me it all depends on the silly little things, how people look at me, if I’m included, if I get a hug when I get home, if my dog is healthy and happy. And of course if I’m successful!
I know these are really bad and shouldn’t even be considered, but unfortunately it’s how I tick.
I heard on one of my motivation CD’s in my car “if you were on a deserted island with no one around, what would you do to make yourself happy?”.
Holy shit I had to think about this question, I pressed pause and thought about this for the rest of the 20min drive to work, the only thing I could think of was writing a book – but why a book? Then I had to think about why I was even thinking that, I’d be a terrible writer! But would that make me happy? I’m not sure.
When I got home today I had to make a call for a side business I’m trying to get up and running, I made the call and closed the deal. That there made me happy! Was it the feeling of success? Was it the slight comfort zone I was leaving that made me happy? It’s not the money, because I’m probably going to do it for free to see if I can prove myself and get more business.
I’m so confused about what makes me happy… What is it that makes you happy?
