Quick post.

We went to the Arkaba in Fullarton, this shot was from the Mezzanine above the sports bar. There was a fair bit of beer, footy, and beer. It was straight after footy training on Easter Thursday.

Wow it’s day 3 already, as you can see my life has a theme… golf, footy, golf, footy, kylie, food, work. I’m trying to build on this but I’m only one man.

I actually wasn’t thinking too much about the shot – as you can tell by the cigarettes in the pic. It was just off the cuff as I was putting my spikes on.
I had the opportunity to get some really nice shots as the sun was coming down, the iphone camera just didn’t cut it. I’ll have to start carrying my BFDSLR when I go places.

I’m half way through Day 2 of my wonderful adventure!

I’m posting this image as I was out on the Regency golf course at 6am this morning with Andy (from work), testing our new golf clubs, we both just bought some Callaway 2008 Big bertha’s. Verdict = Freaking awesome!

First time using the clubs and I par my course record of 43!! with 4 pars, the most I’ve ever had on any course.

This shot was taken when Andy was about 8m out from the pin, I just put my ball away from about 2m out and grabbed the flag off him. I’m not sure what possessed me to grab my phone out, I saw his putt come flying down the green I pressed the trigger – but I was about a tenth too late for it to be an action shot… bugger.

I’ve seen so many people and tags for Project 365, it sounds alright, I might as well get using the camera I paid good money for.

There’s a bunch of reasons to do it, the only reason I can think of not to do it – is that everyone else is doing it! I guess that’s a pretty poor reason… I’ll do it *clenched fist*

Here’s my ‘Day 1′!

Our home oval is used for a few different sports, including bloody cricket! Apparently they played their Grand Final in the morning on Saturday, and knowing me I had to slide into the bloody thing trying to get a touch of the football in the afternoon.

My back was bruised, I jarred my heal earlier in the week – and again on Sat.  Including the tiny graze on my knee I think it looked like I was the most injured in the team, the problem was I didn’t deserve to be injured by the way I played!

I’m thankful there is a week off for Easter Holidays, I have to grow some skills (& manliness)…
